Across our entire network—including the Science Wiki, News & Research Dispatches, Interactive Learning Modules, Shop, and LowKey Games—we require no user accounts or passwords, run zero third-party advertising networks, and never sell or rent personal data.

1. Reading the Wiki, News & Learning Modules

All 521+ peer-referenced encyclopedia articles in the Science Wiki, research articles in News (including PDF downloads and the RSS Feed), and interactive tools in Learn (such as the Dynamic Periodic Table of the Elements) are open-access and require no login or personal information. If you voluntarily submit a literature citation or article revision via the Wiki Peer-Review Portal, any email address you optionally provide is used solely to follow up on your editorial submission.

2. Analytics & Regional Cookie Consent

We use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode v2 to measure aggregate site traffic, popular articles, and general device/browser types:

  • No Ad Tracking: Advertising storage (ad_storage), user data sharing (ad_user_data), and ad personalization (ad_personalization) are strictly disabled across all regions.
  • EEA, UK & Switzerland Consent: For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, analytics cookies (_ga) remain off by default unless you explicitly opt in.
  • Local Browser Storage: We use standard browser localStorage to remember functional preferences such as your shopping cart items, audio mute settings, or anonymous LowKey Games progress.

3. Contact & Support Communications

When you submit a message through our Contact & Support Form, we record your name, email address, message, and a hashed anti-abuse IP token under a support ticket ID (e.g., #SUP-...). We use this information strictly to respond to your inquiry or resolve your store order request. You may request deletion of any support message at any time.
