CRV Science Shop Privacy Policy

The Short Version for Shoppers
You never need to create an account to shop with us. Payments are processed directly by Stripe (we never see or store your card number), and your shipping address is shared only with our production partner Printful and shipping carriers to print and deliver your order. 1. Payment Processing (Stripe Checkout)
All store checkouts are handled through Stripe Checkout over 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption. Your credit/debit card details, Apple Pay, or Google Pay credentials are entered directly on Stripe's PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment page. CRV Science never receives, processes, or stores your raw card numbers or CVV codes. Stripe provides us only with payment confirmation, your billing/shipping contact details, and a transaction session ID so we can fulfill your order and issue receipts or refunds. 2. On-Demand Production & Shipping (Printful)
Once payment is confirmed by Stripe, our server transmits the recipient name, shipping address, email address (for carrier tracking notifications), and ordered item SKUs to Printful, Inc. so your apparel, prints, or accessories can be manufactured on demand and shipped via USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL. Printful uses this information strictly to produce and ship your order. See Printful's Privacy Policy.
3. Passwordless Order Tracking & Data Security
To let you check your order status without creating a passworded account, our Order Lookup tool requires both your Order ID (e.g., #CRV-... or #PF...) and the exact email address used at checkout. Email comparisons use salted SHA-256 cryptographic hashing, and any email displayed in the lookup response is masked (e.g., b***@gmail.com) to protect your privacy. Order fulfillment records are stored outside the public web root.
4. Shopping Cart Storage & External Book Links

White link directly to Amazon.com, where purchases are governed by Amazon's privacy and checkout policies.
5. Returns, Support & Record Retention
