Late October 2026 Update: Seven New Research Dispatches, Refreshed Science Stationery, and Streamlined Browsing

New in-depth reports on paleoclimate, ancient human genetics, infectious disease, and spaceflight history, alongside high-contrast greeting card and postcard galleries in the Shop

We have published a new slate of long-form scientific reports in News & Dispatches alongside visual and browsing refinements in the CRV Science Shop and across our reader feedback channels.

1. Seven New Research Dispatches & Offline PDFs: Our News & Dispatches library adds seven in-depth articles with downloadable PDF editions for offline study and classroom reference. In Earth and planetary sciences, explore how industrial warming halted two millennia of glacial growth on Baffin Island’s Barnes Ice Cap and look back at the 1946 V-2 Flight 13 suborbital mission that captured the first photographs of Earth from space. In evolutionary biology, read how ancient DNA reveals long-distance Gravettian connectivity across Ice Age Europe and how an ancient chimpanzee retrovirus epigenetically silenced a key neurodevelopmental gene. In public health and epidemiology, we examine the 2026 Florida dengue outbreak, the nationwide resurgence of measles, and mammalian adaptation in the 2026 Utah H5N1 outbreak.

2. Refreshed Postcards & Greeting Cards in the Shop: All 23 items in our Postcards & Greeting Cards collection—featuring original illustrations of the Hoatzin, Black Widow Spider, Pacific Octopus, and Space Jelly—now feature high-contrast dark slate studio previews so you can clearly inspect the card edges, fold profile, interior writing spread, and fine-art brushwork before ordering. We also streamlined category browsing in the Shop and on News & Dispatches so you can filter or fold sections effortlessly.

3. Direct Reader Suggestions & Customer Support: Whether you want to suggest a new scientific topic on the CRV Science Wiki, send a message through our Contact page or LowKey Games, or request assistance with a store order, our updated inquiry forms now connect directly with the studio.
